Well, from the looks of it, the lance gains 30 thunder damage for every point of Thunder Attack until the final point-- 5 --which gives 20. I guess I can stop at 4, but +20 still seems like a good enough increase to warrant maxing out the skill. Still, I don't mind trimming the fat a bit so I can fit in a different skill. Maybe Quick Sheathe. I'll test it out later. Thanks.

Honestly relics was handled better than decos were.
Relics were items that were OPTIONAL that you DIDN'T NEED to complete your build, but were there so that you can still progress, the carrot on the stick if you will. You know, the main focus of these games? Relics would only increase your damage from 3%-5% depending on the weapon.
In World, you will be sub-optimal until you get x or y decoration. Rocking a raw weapon? Well you're doing 10% less damage than everyone else who has elementless, fuck you. Don't have Mighty Bow? You're doing 15% less damage than you could be doing, fuck you. Don't have Protective Polish? Well get fucked kid, guess you can't use Divine Slasher/Axe of Demons/Blos Hammer well.

your HR experience backlog from past quests is added everytime you "break" a HR cap. i did everything possible before finishing the main story and jumped 15 HR

Your HR is locked until you beat the final boss, then it unlocks and all you built up xp gets dumped in and your HR will spike. There are still more HR walls though at HR29 and 49.

Level with me /mhg/. Is it wrong to use a hex editor to give myself a decent charm in MH3U instead of grinding one out and praying to the desire sensor?
