But what are the thoughts on +Spd / -Def L'Phraim?

+Spd kind of looks to me like it'd be his worst possible boon. What with how his weapon enables him to double regardless, and especially so considering that even with +Spd his speed is still garbage.
And -Def while hopefully not a tragedy, still seems like a shame since it looks like it could easily be a niche of his while being very welcome on the enemy phase.

Should I just not put any healers on my defense team? I've noticed that anytime I place my team on autobattle, the healers decide its a better idea to charge into battle instead of doing their damn job as a healer and standing back.

I wish I got sweet steady stance fodder, instead I got a wheel with no blues or greens and pity broken by fucking mia. She's a great unit in her own right, but just the last thing I wanted and needed from that banner

So what is the optimal way to play LEphraim?
Ignoring his base kit and running him as the usual cav, or is his base kit really enough to warrant use on its own?
I have a +speed-attack Leph, and a +defense-HP Leph.
I don't trust gamepress or gamepedia, and maybe someone here has used him enough to find his real strengths.
Obviosly in Arena he'll just have SP heavy skills, but I want to know if he has a place in GHB teams as well.

But for real, if you have no dancers AMD absolutely must use a healer, you can remove their weapons so all they can do is heal
