I'm starting to think your personal "KO" meter doesn't actually go down during hunts. It seems like you can take a decently big hit at the start of a hunt, go flawless for minutes, then get hit again and go dizzy because you never fully recovered from the first hit.

I play on XBone, and so far I can count on one hand how many 'good' ChadBlade hunters I've grouped up with.
Most of the time they just hit and knock the team, and use the 'wrong' weapon for the job. Like fire type vs rathalos or ice vs legiana.

Why the fuck does everything need wyvern gems in world? I don't remember nearly as many weapons needing wyvern gems in past games. It's massive pain in the ass, especially since I've been really unlucky getting them despite doing a ton of investigations with multiple gold rewards.
It doesn't even make any sense sometimes. Like why the hell do the final Legiana duals need a wyvern gem?? Legiana has its own fucking gems. Why do I need a fucking wyvern gem whenever I want to make a Kushala/Teostra/Xeno weapon?

it's just a matter of performing certain skills- at points in their animations, the shield is out in front of you, and this is when the guard point is active. IIRC, the points are
>at the beginning of the animation of morphing your sword to axe (your character puts the shield in front as they sheath the blade)
>at the end of the roundslash animation (from either morphing axe -> sword, or the roundslash you can use in the middle of a sword combo)
