Zilean is fucking awful. Has janna level base stats but actually has to get in range of the enemy to use his kit well. Mana costs are so high he's nothing more than an R bot when on a support budget. There's a reason he's one of the least picked champions.

It was Mid Zilean, who got Tear into RoA though. His damage wasn't insane but he carried by the simple fact he slows you infinitely while also dealing that damage, allowing for easy follow-up by the jungler even they're at raptors. Add a roaming mid into the mix and you literally can't do anything. Not like you can just stay under tower; he has a revive and his slow and hard cc working for that too.

Again, janna tier base stats. Anything with a dash shits over zilean levels 1-5. Good early waveclear pushes him in and he can't cs well under tower with his shit base AD.
