The story is awful, the dungeon design is awful, the characters are awful, they fucked up all three of the most important figures in series history in one single game, the routes suck, the voice track is pretty terrible in both languages, the gameplay is improved IV that at the same time wants you to be switching out demons all the fucking time to account for the new element affinity system they came up with which I don't want to see in any game ever again after first thinking it sounded great.
The only thing they've ever said about the designs is that Nanashi and Asahi are supposed to be these sheltered kids and their designs reflected that.
