Is it just me or is Candy Beam useless? I mean it makes the enemy unable to attack, but you also can't attack them. Do you need to combine it with a second skill or something?

You can use it to set up another move like Assault Rain or Super Ghost Kamikaze Attack, or pull off an easy transformation/buff, charge some ki or land and regain stamina.

That is assuming they won't just use the Scouter bug and kick your ass.

For such an expansive roster there are some really glaring omissions.

Max Power at the most. If only to match with Grades and throwing in base/super Broly and base Kale transforming into Legendary
That said, I think it's more likely we'd get the Grades as alternate slots, if they'd just fucking collapse the rest of the shit like Futre, GT, and Super Trunks into one, and Vegeta, Blue, and Majin, and so on.

Roshi will make it in to XV3 since he actually did something in Super.

XV's always skipped out on DB, and had minimal GT, and Chiaotzu basically was around long enough in Z to die once before essentially being forgotten, so they didn't bother.

That would work, yeah. I guess they'd have to leave out the fact that it can be reversed or miss, as that might get too complicated. Should probably drain stamina too.

Ya know, thing is, GT Trunks could be his own character if they didn't give him a sword. For some reason, Dimps keeps giving him a sword. The only time GT Trunks ever had a sword was in the Final Bout opening. Like, how the fuck?

Anyways, they could also slim down on presets as well, like there's no reason for Goku to have over 20 different movesets with only minor changes. The best thing to do for Goku preset-wise is this:

They totally could just drop the sword for GT Trunks and separate him, but that said, I think they give it to him since Kid Trunks got Tapion's sword anyway, and GT Trunks is supposed to be Kid Trunks grown up, after all.
