learn how heroes move. after a while you start to learn and predict most enemy movement and can help with your tracking

well, you just defined combo in your post. So what's your point? There are only a couple of heroes that consistently have to combo their abilities in a specific order to maximize damage. Knowing the correct order is important but as says, useless unless you have positioning and game sense.

Even a 2 hit combo is a combo, even within fighting games. The term is defined by the ability to consistently do damage with the additional hit(s) if the first one connects, not by how difficult or long it is.
