Put your valuable things that you're not going to use anytime soon in your retainers, like glamour pieces that don't go in the wardrobe or crafting materials that you're saving for a big crafting session. Designate your retainers as either crafting/gear/totems/raw materials/furniture, then shift items around. It's going to take a while to do it and be frustrating, but you'll get rid of a lot. Sell valuable items you're not going to hold onto on the MB and vendor things you have no use for or don't sell well(you can do this at your retainer by selecting "have Retainer sell item").

I have 4 dps at 70, there are things to do while you're queuing. I'd argue based on your post that I enjoy the game more than you, and all my tanks are level 30-35.

ERPing with your guild trannies or mashing a single button over and over mindlessly to harvest is not something to do

Im not trying to do anything but point out that complaining about a lack of things to do while ignoring a large part of the game is nonsensical.

I used to do that shit, queue for a dungeon and then just dick around waiting to get in. I'd get tired of the game and take a break every two months or so. I started actually doing all the things I can do, crafting, gathering, levelling other classes, hunts and stuff. I enjoy the game a lot more and have way more gil than ever.

Play how you want, but don't tell me the game sucks because you only want to play half of it.
