The only instances that I remember was that I got yelled by my mom for drawing a King Boom Boo with a bra, because punny joke. And what I did publicly was drawing Sonadow and showing it to my classmates of them french kissing, which they made fun of me even when I stopped acting stupid up until early HS.

I mainly just talked about appropriate Sonic things instead, how much I liked the series and whatnot until HS where I didn't shove it in people's faces.

It seems like WAY too big of a coincidence that the only two "main" side characters to not return were those two, especially with Blaze's popularity and role as female Sonic. I thought for a while that they were going to be relegated to a comic tie-in, but now I am not convinced. Blaze and Cream sort of act as the "girl" alternative to Sonic and Tails. Even Omega returned, despite being shafted in Generations over Cream. Hell I am only sure Omega is in Forces because Shadow was playable again so they decided to throw Team Dark a bone as a nod to that era of the games.

Is it completely outlandish that there was going to be a Blaze DLC in Forces, similar to how Shadow got one?

So just like archie then, spanning out of the games, but they'll throw in a few differences to spice things up if they want to tell a certain story or avoid a problem caused by the """"""continuity"""""" of a game. We can basically assume all of the main games have happened as the comic spans out of Forces, until something says otherwise and a more unique continuity starts to form. I think this is for the best.

Literally nothing changed except the publisher. The Freedom Fighters just left to go fight in their own battles against Eggman after he took over in Forces, until we see some actual contradictions that make it explicitly impossible for the old comics to be stuff that Sonic and the gang actually experienced, I see no reason why I should abandon the old stuff.

Speaking of archie continuity, last time Ian had to reboot, he did a really cool thing with Blaze's world where it continued as normal, even continuing a plot thread that was entirely his from before the reboot, with Metal Sonic and whatnot.

I wonder if Ian might be sneaky with Blaze in the IDW comic, not necesarilly having her directly reference the archie comics, but that she remembers Sonic from a different dimension coming to her world/visiting a different Sonic's world, as a coy wink that she could in fact be a little bridge to the past comics. Could even be a little alibi for how she is absent from Forces.
