Ela was never considered OP because of her pickrate, she was considered OP because she was designed to be an operator who could 1v5
Smoke and Mira are also both operators that if you don't play correctly you can hinder your team

ela is strong in team and solo play because she is a 3 speed with an amazing gun and very good gadget

smoke is strong because he has a good gadget in team play and specifically bomb
there is a reason you don't see him picked in every non pro league game

mira is strong because she has a good gun that goes along with her strong utility gadget
again she isnt picked every single round of non pro league games

because there are much stronger defenders available

i still dont see why you are playing around the issue, the game should be balanced around the highest level of play and smoke/mira are the reason theres no operator variety on defence while only hibana is a real must pick on attack due to hatches(and mira windows).

I love Tower, it's amazing. All maps have flaws, but it's easy to look past them with it. Mostly it's just that the map is poorly designed for hostage mode.
