How can you think Fallout 4 is good but not think NV is good? It's basically the same shit except NV had society re-built a bit and 1&2 references. Do you just really like home building sims or something?

you had the same small towns with 5 people in them like Goodsprings, Primm, Novac, etc. and one larger city ith some more people in it, aka Vegas, which is its Diamond City.

Its the exact same shit as Fallout 3 and 4, except New Vegas went full on cosplay, whereas Fallout 3 and 4 kept the cosplayers to small side factions like the Tunnel Snakes, and the Atom Cats

If time spent is an indicator, it's 4 for me.

But I don't think time spent is the only indicator. I have great childhood memories of 3 and NV. 3 was actually my first, back when it came out, on the xbox.

I didn't play 1 and 2 and tactics until after I had already played 3 and NV. I bought them many years after playing 3 and NV in fact.

For me, they're all pretty equivalent. And that isn't just a cop-out answer, since the reason I like the Fallout franchise in the first place is intact through all of them. My reason for playing any fallout game at all is the setting and the narrative. The differences between the games are mostly details, presentation, and tone. The narrative is generally intact.

So people's arguments over which is best mostly deal with those detail and tone differences. Their preference regarding which is important.

Fallout 3 came out in 2008, so I was in high school. Essentially a kid, so I refer to it as childhood.

If were talking like 12 years old literal childhood, then my fond memories are like diablo 2 and halo 1 and stuff like that.

Then play those games and don’t cry when the lore is changed without your input, same thing I do in World of Warcraft considering all the good characters have been killed and resurrected multiple times at this point (illidan, waiting for Arthas 2.0, fucking Deathwing has died 4 times, at least twice at my personal hand)
