Just recently unlocked class leveling, was curious about scout and picked the fucking fast-grab skill like a moron. Is there any value to playing as Scout at a higher level?

probably heard some (justified) bitching about how 30 SV is shitty. 50 is shitty but still manageable. As you'd only need to wait 20 days to expand your exploration slots.

watch towers are great, stick them under spawns and enemies will walk off them taking lots of damage

You haven't played with somebody with bad ping. Even the mobs start teleporting.

If you surround it with spike barricades, do you get more damage out of it, or is the fall damage greater?

And recurve bow is the bow you need to aim for as it's even better than durability on a slightly higher damage composite bow. The ability to keep that thing repaired every wave for peanuts is essentially what allows you to bow every wave.

They keep the reticle at precise height.

and what does the stun arrow actually do? is it just the regular slight stagger when you shoot them except more often?
or do they literally get stunned and just stand there? does it work on armored and bombers?

What gives the most base defense per unit of capacity?

It stuns them. They stand still swaying back and forth with arms down and head exposed. It works on everything even mortars. It's range is limited only by the arrow used. Shock will arc and can stun multiple things. RPA stuns everything it goes through. Grenade arrow will even stun things that are in the stagger range but aren't in the damage range.

You've probably already figured this, but you can restock ammo from the bench in a mission. What you need to do is unlock the other quivers, especially RPA, take only the arrows you need to clear a wave, and then use the bench to restock all of your empty quivers with arrows.

I slowly beat him to death with a hammer. Many times during the long and slow process I wondered what I was doing. But through a long and deliberate process of bullying his tentacles I was able to finish victoriously.

Hide in the buildings until he crouches down and starts to do the ice beam attack into the door then run out behind him. His back will be lit up and he won't stop the attack so you can unload into it as much as you want until he's done.

Yes, your weapons will do more damage. Damage scales based on level. You are wasting ammo and durability doing it more than 1 or 2 levels below 50.
