Why are the mechanics around sheathing your weapon such a horrible pain in the ass in this game?

Like seriously, why wouldn't the devs just allow you to loot with your weapon equipped? Why have so many actions restricted by whether or not your weapon is out? It's maddening and seems like a terrible design, especially when sheathing/unsheathing is so clumsy.

Because the devs are fucking retarded when it comes to inventory. You can't remove the net, the rod, the bbq spit that you have no reason to use, and any "quest" items which for whatever fucking reason includes the Gajalaka pick-ups. I stopped fighting them all together because of this.
I'm legitimately surprised they didn't make the item box have an inventory limit.

pants can be nergi or odogaron for all purpose builds or something like rath/deathstench instead of the helm or chest or both for more specialized builds
for decos you want normal or spread up, mighty bow, ballistics if you have it and ele damage until cap

you really want that 2p rath bonus and a const 3 charm
