This is how I felt at the end of SDR2. I wanted to know their fates and theorized about it with friends for so long. Then DR3 taught me the lesson that getting an answer is not always a good thing. I mean, everyone being happily shipped off on a boat while being totally okay talking to Komaeda after all he did? Weird.
I like the open interpretation of the end of V3. Did they run away? Were they awarded and lauded as heros? Were they hunted down by TDR? Was the world actually in ruins?
As much as I want to know, knowing DR's track record the true answer is possibly stupid.

I'm very interested in them having to reconcile fake memories and maybe even fake personalities moving forward
