Daily reminder that GS has went from a brainless low IQ weapon to a weapon that requires zero IQ and thought.

Old Style:
Had to memorize monster movesets
Had to memorize monster patterns
Had to learn spacing of attacks
Had to learn timing of attacks
Had to slot in skills such as Tremor Res (Rajang) or HGE so you can perform optimally.

NewGS:
Just spam TSC.
Monster Roars? Tackle -> O, do a good chunk of damage.
Monster Tremors? Tackle -> O, do a good chunk of damage
Fucked up timing and going to eat shit? Tackle -> O, do a good chuck of damage.

Not if you augment your armor, and that argument is whack. I could easily say the same about GQ140s.
Doesn't require any skills outside basic BM skills like WE3 and Attack Boost4+

Lady kicks
It's a weapon that can only be used by female hunters in it's first form you get spiky heels that do slash damage with a bunch of kicks. but you switch forms for massive damage by inflating her toes to use as massive clubs that work like hammers.

The more times you attack the more sweaty the toes become and the smell adds buffs to other players near you.

Lunastra and Oroshi are part of the spring update as well.
There will be balance changes for older weapons, and "new" weapons added that aren't part of the Jho/Luna/Oroshi pack.

The pack will include Shaggy with the title update monster headliner being Zinogre. The Zinogre trailer will drop in April.
There will be a Shonen Jump crossover with Black Clover in May.
There will be a God of War crossover for Sony PS4 in June.
In May there will be a full Elder hunting Luna/Teo/Kushala/Kirin/Nerg.
In September there will also be the first release of a new map called the Shimmering Lagoon. It's half jungle and half lagoon with a series of caves connecting a hidden second lagoon. Plesioth, a new world subspecies of Royal Ludroth, a new world subspecies of Barioth, a new fanged wyvern based on a crocodile, and Chameleos.

C.Draw snipe is fucking terrible in World, I tried to make it work, even using heroics it fails to compete with even non-heroic TSC spam builds.

Everytime I sos to a Teo and I see he is in mode for supernova and just stand a little back and wait to flash him. Can't even count the number of missions I saved this way.

TSC without heroics does 700 (1200 if we include first two hits)

It doesn't even compete.
My hunts will easily go from 3 minutes spamming TSC to 7-9 minutes of playing the OG way.

It's the same problem that CB has if you want to omit SAED in your play. Kill times are easily doubled if not tripled.

Peak Performance is extremely solid on Lance and you should be able to maintain it with just a life augment and pick up better set pieces than Vaal.

Oh fuck off faggot. I have plenty of hours using GS in 4U and did a metric ton of hunts with it in GQ140 rooms. But acting like old GS took a lot of skill is the dumbest thing ever. It has always been one of the simplest and easiest weapon to be really good at. God forbid that they finally made the weapon more involved than just head sniping 24/7 with the same moveset over and over again.

CB and Bow are too fucking easy my dog could probably clear T3 investigations with ease.
GS is fucking ruined.
IG has a lot of it's niche strategies ruined (pole vaulting roars) so I'm not sure if I'm going to stick with it. Debating about SA.

I hop around with lance too much for Max might to be useful. Crit boost is good if you're TAing with the affinity booster. Peak performance is a good skill and using it with health augments sounds like a fun way to play. That's my opinion. I don't know what you want out of this set though.
