You don't get traded instantly on higher difficulties as far as I know.

As long as you have at least one hostage, you will be traded by the AI in two minutes.

It is, though. One crew chief player sits in the cover for the whole heist, while an anarchist, stoic and rogue players run around, kill shit and complete objectives.

Alright so what makes Crew chief stand out over the other perk decks is that while you sacrifice the idea to get health regen, you get almost the same amount of damage resistance as the Infiltrator perk deck (30% less damage) but with 24% damage reduction for all your crew. Coupled with Frenzy and underdog both aced, you get 35% more damage reduction, which leads to 65% damage reduction if you’re close to cops, 49% if you’re not.

So while you’re kinda crippling yourself, if you have a crew of anarchist players with frenzy aced, having this crew chief perk deck will max their damage resistance to 49-59%, making them invincible on Death Wish or below and that’s not even counting if you have a maniac perk deck player that will add even more resistance to the team.

tl,dr: you lose health regen and keep an average ICTV but this perk deck will make you and your team a lot less downed if not invincible on higher difficulties.
