Plates aren't THAT rare, you're likely to get at least one within' 2-3 hunts. Gems on the other hand might take you a bit more. But neither should take you forever like you imply.

What? I play GS exclusively and I'm nearly 600 quests completed with it and I can safely say that he is by far the easiest Elder if not the easiest monster in the entire game. Every time he flies is a free stun and a nice and warm rape to his face.

so this is my first monster hunter and I'm enjoying it a lot but the amount of "clones" is bugging me. for example on the last map the 'new' monsters are a recoloured rathalos, a recoloured radobaan, a recoloured Jyuratodas and dodogama (who is admittedly pretty cool). are past games like this? do they usually have a lot of variants/clones?

m8 you bring 10 flash bugs, and craft them into flash pods when you're out. don't flash him when he's in the cyclone.

this here is one of my biggest complaints about World AI
monsters will always default to a position left of the crawlspace, if there is one that leads to the zone
and in the case of the wildspire one, always aggro before you get out
in the arena they'll jump on the ledge and just wait there. like why? for what purpose?

Im a DB main player HR11. I just recently aquired the whole Zorah Set and the Zorah Twin Blades, and i fell inlove with the Blast!

However, the Zorah twin blades has -20% affinity. And according to Critical Status (which only needs 3 pcs of Zorah), it increases build up of abnormal effects but only if landing critical hits which is kinda lame.

I need help on building an end game character that revolves around Zorah Magdaros Power, Zorah twin Blades and positive affinity. Which should i remove on the Zorah set and what to replace and what decorations and charm should I farm?
