But my choices are limited to xehanort ex, terra ex, and ffrk terra (5, 4, 8 hits respectively)
So what's more important in this case
Killing enemies with 4 hits at a lower multiplier or killing enemies with 8 hits at a higher multiplier

8 hits and higher multiplier. The reason people say to use single hit medals is so you can overkill the enemy. Overkilling the enemy gives you slightly more points, which should only be important if you can even finish the HSC.
