Make sure you dodge before the parry window is open, otherwise the attack will come down too quickly for you to move out of the way. But don’t just dodge it every time, either, because if you’re not fighting a piece of cellophane they’re going to feint that into a GB.

New maps (two per faction) Maps are set up like campaign missions where there are objectives to complete and bosses (and mini bosses) to beat. Each objective completed grants a chest with either exp, steel, gear or Mabey cosmetics based in your hero. Story wise they would be raids on enemy factions to assassinate leaders or get supplies. 2player or 4 player modes which add more enemies depending. Make feats more of a part of the gameplay in the form of 'abilities' for each hero. First two slots are basic moves which are probably shared between either faction or class (assassin, vanguard, etc) and are similar to low tier feats. The top two tiers are mostly hero specific with at least four each tier to choose from that are way more powerful than in game feats like team wide bleed or instant revenge pop with extra duration. Design bosses with this in mind so that all classes are useful like assassins bringing dps, heavies bringing tanking/cc and vanguards bringing shielding and buffs. Hybrids would take hybrid roles from thier parent classes. All heroes would use duel colours for the raids and perhaps raid gear could be added that was a mirror of normal gear but had raid specific stats like ability strength and buff duration.

I'd play shit like that Granted, I'm fond of PvE kinda games with objectives like Horde in Gears or Vermintide. Really I just want something to continue the campaign story, like in this case it could be missions from Holden Cross, Ayu, and Stigandr on fucking up the remnants of the Blackstone Legion, problematic Viking Clans, or Samurai splinter factions like what Ayu had to deal with in the swamp mission. Because the campaign kinda left off with plans to go about bringing peace but not really acting on it.

I’m sold. More than anything, I believe there needs to be some kind of incentive to go back to the campaign and some of its buried mecanics and ideas. How fucking awesome would it be to escort a massive battering ram to some castle gates like the one in the Knights’ final mission? Or a kind of bounty hunt mode where you FFA race to kill the different Daimyo of the Dawn Empire in the Myre?
Not only would it be fresh, vaguely unrecycled content, but it could also build on the story and lore of the game itself, something that is guaranteed to reel in more and more players.
I don’t even care if the shit is rushed out of the door, just give me something that isn’t the same four maps fighting against one, two, or four people.
