Sploosh was literally never a way to go. It is a consistently outclassed and potential-wasting weapon that sucks at everything.

Anything with either armor (fucking Dynamo saw tournament use because of that shit, that's how broken it is), splashdown (except Sploosh, Undercover and Hydra) or Forge (because it's the only bubble blower with a bomb to insta-pop). If you use anything else you actively want your team to lose.

better off playing salmon run for practice. single player is boring and has too many static enemies for it to be good practice. salmon run has slow enemies that are too predictable for it to be good practice, but better than single player at least.

being able to change direction instantly without waiting for deceleration/acceleration. hold sub weapon button, hold in the direction you're going to go and turn into a squid, release sub weapon button. it's basically cheating since most people don't know about it.

You get 21 snails a month, plus one for every level. Unless you're constantly swapping out fully-leveled 1 star gear, there's no reason to horde them.
