she gives a very long intense look after Max says ''love'' so, nope.

I liked Farewell overall. It wasn't amazing but it had some really nice moments before all the sad stuff came down. the 'leaks' made me have higher expectations even though I tried not to fall into that trap.
Even the tape recorder scene was very bittersweet. I wonder if that was the ending the Leak user was hinting at. It did surprise me, but it also made some sense to me that Max would do something like that. It's just a shame her anxiety and all that locked her down into thinking she couldn't be there for Chloe. We know how badly she wanted to even after she was back in Arcadia Bay.
I guess what's important is that Max came back to Chloe, made up for mistakes, and while she cannot undo those five years of silence- they can both make the rest of their years the best they can. I know they can.

These two deserve a very long and relaxing break from the tragedy, mystery, and supernatural.

Deck Nine's contribution to LiS is finished. With their additions/damages to S1, DONTNOD's story still remains mostly unchanged. BtS didn't change the outcome of anything from the original or the meaning of the original's moments and choices. A lot of characters made mistakes (and writers messed some things up) but at the end of the day the game still ends with Max and Chloe. Nothing will take that away.

No I don't think you're an Ambefag but I think too many people claim there was an agenda in the prequel to try to kill Pricefield or make people hate Max. Which there wasn't. Zak and the others root for Rachel because she's their character. She's a part of the existing story that they expanded on and by doing so they became attached for her and wished she could have a better ending. Yet they clearly hinted to the ending she does have, which is a tragic one after a terrible decline.
They didn't fix Rachel's mistakes or even leave room for people to think it was an AU. They wouldn't make a sequel involving her and some new future because they remained loyal to the overall points of the original game. Which is what they claimed from Day 1.

Well yeah, the idea of canon choices wasn't very good. The game did feel like it was pushing you to take a specific route.
Which I wouldn't have objected to so much if the character didn't just meet a day prior. That's what BtS was though, all about how Chloe and Rachel met and why Chloe started developing feelings for her. It would have been a better story if there was some more to it and if it covered more time.

We didn't even get a very good look at Max's parents. Maybe someone can get the models, or make their own, and do some stuff.
Personally, I'd love a "coming home" video where it's Max and Chloe arriving at the Caulfield's after the storm and being greeted/comforted by them.
Or maybe a nice scene of the future with Max and Chloe, Joyce and David, Ryan and Vanessa having a picnic or something.

Yeah. Even ignoring the fact that a prequel like that won't have crazy choices that clearly take the story to somewhere entirely new from the original.
The choices in BtS rarely had the same weight some of the ones in LiS did. That's both good since it makes the game feel less perilous, but it's bad because it makes it feel bland at times.

it's a prequel,characters pre-defined as you know from s1, so eventually story meets with the same consclucion in those years. so it's normal to its having specific obvious route. they retconned some stuff like in very major way, but at least some things stayed loyal to story either.

to be honest with you, i actually liked the way how we saw Chloe happy and having those feelings for the first time. all of those cliche romantic moments, just gets you somehow. but you also know how their story ends, you know Rachel's mistakes so I can't be fan of it. and her idiotic fans really not helping.

Comfy moments are good but ending montage is a retcon (even if it was powerful, still a retcon) It was a tearjerk episode as you may imagine. Includes some heartwarming Max and Chloe moments and the rest of it is tragedy, that's all.

I can sympathize with you on that. I try to not let Rachel's fans ruin the character for me, but they do make it hard sometimes.
And to see Max's mistakes amplified, while Rachel's just get glossed over or not even shown, is a bit annoying. They wanted to show the "angel" side of Rachel that Chloe came to love, not the entire reality of what Rachel did.
Which leaves a big gap between the games where the only possible way to explain stuff is imagination, which shoudn't be the case. It's like Deck Nine took on the responsibility of showing Rachel, acknowledged what happened to her, but didn't want to do the dirty work of elaborating on the path Rachel took in that time.
