I'm only really familiar with Echoes Alm, but from what little I've seen of him outside of Echoes it does seem like they toned him down a bit. Notably more chad than other Lords like Eliwood or Marth, but no bastard crusher for sure.

Why the fuck would any of those get refinements? DC weapons are never going to get refinements because they're already good enough, and the other two are already refinements from other weapons.
I unironically think they should implement this, as well as adding anti-weapons like Rapiers and making more wind tomes. IS seems to want to promote a mixed team meta, but Emblem teams are still far too powerful, and there's no real incentive to use otherwise.
