teleport when attacked is not too hard to abuse, it is always away from the soldier doing the attacking, so you can push her into the rest of the squad. Killed the last avatar in my fist wotc campaign that way, forced him to tp right into a turkey shoot.

Nah, someone usually gets that late in my games, it's just never the Assassin. I murder that bitch as hard as possible as soon as possible. Hunter I generally leave for awhile, I like the added area denial element he adds to missions. Warlock is a target of opportunity, sometimes he goes early, sometimes he goes late, just depends on how the campaign runs.

The problem is I spent waaay to much time trying to keep the Avatar Project from spilling over in my current run.

Ah, I sympathize. I've tended to get lucky with the covert actions, with at least one a month to fight the Avatar Project. Makes life easy, if I'm honest.

The faction heroes, one of which can stay in concealment forever and solo missions.

I think it's easier than vanilla.

Faction heroes are strongest early game, traditionally when xcom is at it's weakest. Covert options also give you another method of dealing with the Avatar project.

Faction related stuff was a really big buff to XCOM in general really, that one that removes an action from the ayys when they're revealed on your turn just breaks the game.

Each one of you commanders is a winner to me!
