I got to KoG this season by playing Burn, it tilts the other guy way too much.

While I think Kaijus would be an unhealthy addition to duel links I really don't think they would be used in any sort of burn strategy.

My Ojama Go deck brought me to KoG last season really easily. I haven't touched rank yet, been playing other games, but I doubt the meta has shifted enough for it to be unviable. It beat aliens pretty easily.

The animation would only activate with Alexis players anyway so it'd be a small minority of CA players. Plus you can just turn animations off during their turn if you don't want to see it that much, it's more about cards that 'deserve' animations and Dakini has a character cut-in like most ace cards so it has a chance and has enough relative (negative) fame to justify it.

I was really disappointed to see most Volcanics are in a box which makes Axel's chance of appearing unlikely. Still holding out hope they'll release him with Volcanic Queen as his ace though with the new Volcanic support as his level-up rewards, it's the only chance right now. I hate how delayed Konami has been with GX content, we're getting so many interesting side characters and antagonists in regular DM and we haven't gotten even a major antagonist as playable in GX world yet.

While your point is true the only good card to kaiju while playing burn right now is Ananta. Flying Fish, Snipe Hunter and Fenghuang all generate massive, immediate value the turn they are summoned against burn and will usually allow the player to win that turn. I would totally agree with you if Jinzo was released as he can't be floodgated, although I predict the popularity of burn decks would decrease drastically if Jinzo was obtainable in the first place.

Going full aggro is fun, but sometimes it's also fun to play defensively and force your opponent to play the way you want them to.
