Reminder to draw for the collage! Draw your planefu, put effort into it, and it will be added right in! imgur.com/a/ghjcI The only rules are: >not being good at drawing is not an excuse if Warcrimes' submission made the cut, yours will too >it must be black and white, no shading >it must fly from left to right >you MUST have fun while drawing. It's the most important part! Don't be afraid to ask for help. We'll always offer some advice if you need it.
Because it bears repeating: >HD Collection never (ever). >Don't let it die, buddy. >Release date soon™
kek Alright I was gonna do the same with the edgy stuff but I think you did it better. >you know the game with Good job Just reposting it because the last one was at the eny of the thread. Good job on the missile one too.
Elijah Wood
Aaaand here's Warcrimes' request. Enjoy it, and good night, /aceg/.
>people unironically defend osea >the country that causes economic catastrophe in a country, exploits it to gain land, and then cries foul when it's attacked in return >the country that causes massive civil wars on other continents >the country that creates military facilities in other countries and then doesn't understand why they don't like them being there Really makes me think.

>As Belka economically collapsed throughout the late 80s and early 90s, Osea took advantage of its neighbor's decline. Osea backed independence movements for ethnostates on Belka's periphery, and later purchased the Great Lakes region. The Great Lakes were sold at a low price under the condition that Belka would receive profits from economic activity in the region. However, Osea falsified surveys of the region to overstate its mineral wealth, and Belka earned far less money than it had anticipated. This contributed to the rise of a fascist regime predicated on restoring Belka’s territorial integrity. Really Makes Me Think

Alright that's it you Osean shitposter now you will burn to the ground I hired more ex belkan ace squadrons than anyone here is comfortable with and i have bought Mobious 1 and Cipher with the power of money and my eternal hatred has even revived Yellow 1 through 13 and they are all equipped with V2s with me leading the formation, this time you have gone too far, Osea will burn to the fucking ground
Kevin Myers
>with me leading the formation Ah, nothing to worry about, then.

Would you shoot down an enemy pilot who ejected, /aceg/?

No, that's a war crime.

How feasible would a fighter AWACS actually be? It doesn't really look like a good idea to me.
Lincoln Martin
VERY unfeasible. You wouldn't be able to fit the systems needed for AEW&C duties and you'd utterly ruin its flight characteristics.
Eli Diaz
Neat
I wish there was some sort of gameplay thing for the AWACS ones beyond just lookind kinda cool
Jason Cox
Actually, Iran took it a step further: They used their F-14s for EAW missions, but this picture is a Grumman Study for an armed AWACS and replacement of the E-2B, since that aircraft was only an interim measure to replace the incredibly unreliable E-2A.
I'm not sure, the design's aerodynamics would suffer and it would certainly lose maneuverability and speed, but gain incredible situational awareness as well as self defence in it's AWACS role. It's main advantage however would be it's incredible flexibility. In the event that aircraft need to scramble quickly, an AWACS Fighter could fly alongside the other fighters as they will have similar speeds. This means the fighters can repsond to an event quickly, but still have the high situational awareness that comes with AWACS support. Although I think that an AWACS Fighter is more reasonable nowadays, with better radar, computer and missile technologies. I could very well imagine an F-35 variant with an extendable AESA radar hidden in it's weapon bay, that can then be deployed and keep track of anything that's not in front of the aircraft. Long range missiles could be equipped to deal with targets, before they get a chance to retaliate.
Jaxson Jackson
>They used their F-14s for EAW missions This sounds interesting, got any source to read about it?
Correcting that pilot, attempting to do some writefaggotry on Veeky Forums, going to the gym. What about you? >spoiler cute. Well, it did have the most advanced radar in their arsenal, and when the 54s started to run out... >I could very well imagine an F-35 variant with an extendable AESA radar hidden in it's weapon bay, that can then be deployed and keep track of anything that's not in front of the aircraft. Long range missiles could be equipped to deal with targets, before they get a chance to retaliate. That's actually an excellent idea. Combined with modern data link and sensor fusion, it would allow someone to provide stealthy AEW&C and do it in an exceptionally efficient manner.
Gavin Brown
Mornin Fired a bunch of missiles into my own Battlestar's flak screen earlier. No clue why they made me an admiral
Liam Adams
That's literally Baltic Fleet tier idiocy.
Parker Sullivan
I never claimed to be a good admiral. I didn't misidentify my escorts as Base Stars and I didn't almost lose against a bunch of civilian ships though.
Christian Sanchez
I'm mourning in the morning. Why? Because it's March already and we still haven't heard about the damn release date.
Jace Scott
It could be worse.

We were actually living in Strangereal the whole time
Kayden Howard
So when will it be weaponized?
Gabriel Hernandez
>F-35 Weapons Bay Radar I think you could maybe put a slim AESA array on the inner door of the weapons bay, where the A2A weapons would normally be located. If you can keep the outer door closed, you have a perfect view towards one given side. Otherwise the open bay doors would block the view of an internal array and the AESA pod would have to be lowered drastically making it structurally and stealth wise very weak If you can consider a radar emitter to be stealthy in the first place, but that is besides the point. Also >inb4 if we had an F-32 the weapons bays would have been better for an AEW loadout
Dominic Fisher
Good morning, /aceg/. Thanks to the east coast storm, the snow is, indeed, coming. I'm just happy to contribute.
Liam Fisher
>>inb4 if we had an F-32 the weapons bays would have been better for an AEW loadout >tfw we could've had happiest AWACS Truly the worst timeline.

How comes no country ever picks up rejected prototypes? For example, what was stopping, let's say, Canada from picking up the YF-23 after the YF-22 was picked as the winner? Politics? Concerns about the tech getting spread to various countries?
Owen Reyes
Costs, buddy. Also, why try to develop the loser when you can buy the winner at a fraction of the price?
Austin Reyes
Development costs a lot of money. The guys would also have to be willing or able to present to another customer.

The collage seems to be pretty much done, not any more entries being submitted really. Now we need a big picture of buddies at the /aceg/ airbase.
>nice sunny day >drawbuddies sitting off to the side, drawing and comparing their work >Brady teaching a class on handegg >Thunder meticulously cleaning and polishing a Phantom >various buddies working on their planefus >Razgriz Patch Guy sitting behind a little storefront selling patches >X-29A Guy and some other buddies cooking food at a bunch of grills >A-10 buddies comparing their GAU-8s >banners for a livery competition later that night all over the place
Words cannot express how comfy this would be
Gavin Fisher
>comparing GAU-8s >/gayceg/
Gavin Gomez
Going to have to be a really big picture to have that much detail
William Nguyen
Actually there were a few WIPs for the collage and I have to add some. No clue on the state of the WIPs tho.
Asher Rodriguez
Buccaneer when?
Ian Butler
>>A-10 buddies comparing their GAU-8s That doesn't make much sense, GAU-8s are pretty much uniform. What would make more sense is a little gun-run obstacle course that the A-10 buddies set up in the distance, with them gunning all the targets to shreds.

Brandon Nguyen
I wasn't really a Fulcrum fan, but since that buddy has been posting the two seater, the Fulcrum has been growing on me the last couple days.
I think I like the dual seat MiG-35 more than the 29.
Blake Perez
She's certainly a looker. Doesn't have that odd bulge that the Mig29SMT did to try and fit all those 5th gen electronics.
