Crush Counter is massive reward for little effort and because of the crumple or launcher or whatever additional hit properties you get for landing it, capitalizing on a Crush Counter is absolutely trivial. GG counter hits require you to be prepared for it, even counter hit launchers in Tekken aren't amazing S class launchers usually that get you incredible max damage combos. It's too much reward for too little effort. Like, there's absolutely no reason for you to get free crush counters during the recovery of invincible DP's, you already got full combos, but now it's EXTRA damage full combos. It's stupid.

You can thank XBLA and whatever the PS equivalent was at the time having a no-patch policy and a low size-limit.
