Me too, but you can't see me.
This game is too easy, farming veteran to get to 200 is tedious chore
>Have to play Champion to progress gearscore
>With pubs
haha fun game
Why dont you farm Champion?
I really really want to __________ the elf!!!
Because opening 200-300 crates when you're below 200 is a waste
>level 30 elf joins champ
>does literally nothing but spam swift bow the entire game, at a horde, when we have fireball sienna and a hamer kruber
>probably lose more health to her shooting me in the back
the meme is actually real
if it's such a tedious chore why are you even playing?
let the rats have
Because I can't bring myself to play games that don't involve grinding for loot
Surely having fun is more important than the autistic grinding that you can let go on the backseat? Champion is way more interesting than veteran.
how does armor work on higher difficulty?
ive heard that some stuff doesnt penetrate it anymore and seen that stuff like my gun gets "sparks" when hitting the big guys in veteran while it seemed to fully penetrate their armor on recruit
You level up faster playing champion. Also who gives a fuck?
>Complain the game is too easy
>Refuse to make it harder
How retarded can you be? It's not pointless if you want the game to be harder.
Which two characters should I level up first? Who's the most fun/versatile? (I say two just in case one is taken)
I was thinking of Bardin and then either Kruber or Saltzpyre (although I'm shit at aiming) since Bardin has the crossbow for sniping, and ends up with a flamethrower which sounds fun as fuck and then both of his other classes sound good, either tanky as fuck or being able to leap and smash stuff.
Not sure about Kruber since he seems very basic and mostly tanky, Saltzpyre's Zealot sounds like it could be fun though.
Also when should I be opening the lootboxes? Should I open them right when I level up or should I save them?
Thanks in advance anons.
I'm getting tired of these faggots that keep complaining about HAVING to farm power. If you needed any proof that power was a mistake look no further
Honestly I can't even tell what the benefit of power is supposed to be.
Sitting at around almost 500 power atm on level 24 without really farming for it at any point, don't know what they're on about
If you succeed, but with the amount of shitters in random games veteran is a much more stable grind.
>Kruber
>very basic and mostly tanky
Even without huntsman as a crutch I bet I could handsomely top you in any stat regardless of my Kruber career and weaponry.
do you think that the elf has been fucked in all three holes at once by ratmen haha that'd be super gross
Try hovering your mouse over your total power count in your inventory
>helicopter minigun kruber in V1
>helicopter mounted missile kruber in V2
Can anyone stop this guy?
enjoy having noreds because you used all your commendation boxes
>You level up faster playing champion
You clearly don't play champion much.
Either your pubs will force your success rate into 33% or your playing with a coordinated group of 4 who can only play for 3 hours a day because they all have different schedules. It's far better to play veteran where you can play with retards and win despite them not playing like gods.
I have 3 classes on low levels so if I really want to I can get plenty of those and fast
I'm good thanks
This pretty much. You also don't have to deal with the FF and people being retards about it constantly.
I've been playing champion since I've been able to do it at 220 power or whatever it is. I have 3 friends who I played VT1 with and we play whatever the highest difficulty we can play is with all tomes and grims.
Good for you. Most people don't have friends they can constantly play with and playing with random people on champion is terrible at this time.
I'm talking about design, what does it bring to the game.
Additional depth to the progression system
>Vermintide 3
>Kruber just waltzes through the armies of Chaos undivided unimpended to oneshot Archon with his blunderbuss
I'd buy it
lol
Get some friends my man, it's not that hard.
I don't know why you guys don't try to get together groups here and play together. I haven't even seen it attempted literally once. I would play with you guys if I lived in the same country.
First it was the repeater gun, now it was the blunderbuss, next up is the handgun being able to nuke with an overpowered shot that does massive AoE damage.
No one can stop Taal's chosen.
>play with friends
>Veteran difficulty
>pick the dorf because he's my favorite character
>always get least kills, even as a Ranger/Slayer (it doesn't matter as a tank)
>always die the most
>Ranger just feels like shit especially when the crossbow can't oneshot specials
>Slayer is the funnest but is just useless in every aspect
>Tank I can do passably well at least
Genuinely have no idea what I'm doing so badly but it's awful and I hate being a dead weight on my team.
>chud think green circle not big enuf
>chud add big ORANGE circle
>chud wish team see orange circle
>chud like orange wepon
Does weapon power affect actual damage output? Can I keep using my 5 power weapons?
>game crashes so hard it caused steam to close
woah
ever since maintenance on monday I've been crashing more
level up that ranger and win every single game because your team will be drowning in free health potions
Play ironbreaker with the flamethrower and take care of all the waves by yourself if you want green circles.
that's called an addiction, you treadmilling retard
Your total power rating does, I played champion with 5 power weapons because I didn't want to open boxes at level 5 and get only whites.
Half of your total power comes from the average power of all your equipment, the other half from your level
Power affects damage output, projectile penetration and overall armour penetration
Yes, weapon power helps
Bardin and Kerillian are very popular, so they're usually taken. I mained Bardin, and now I'm trying to get Saltz and Sienna. Sienna seems to rarely get picked, Saltz less so.
Kruber is probably the best all-rounder, and his abilities really make him a team player.
>finally try out kruber for the halberd
>halfways expect it to be wide swings only like how most games do halberds and I'm really tired of
>it actually feels balanced like a real halberd, it actually does short chops and stabs
holy shit
now I only wish the stabs werent distinctively worse than the other attacks. Do they even aoe? I know they dont pierce armor
so when should I start open those boxes then? I mean at what character level to be specific.
I think it might pierce, but it's always so hard to tell in the middle of a horde. Even so, the sweep and chop are much better. It would actually be a great weapon if the stabs pierced.
The higher you character level the better the loot quality. The higher the power rating on loot you got before the better the power rating on loot you will get from new boxes. Those 2 have nothing to do with each other, so opening boxes on a level 1 character when you have an average power rating of 300 still gives you only white weapons 99% of the time, those white weapons will have around 300 power rating however.
Delete.
Sorry, pierce as in hit enemies in a line.
Yeah thats what I was hoping too but it doesn't really specifically seem to do that
> when you find out than M means Mission.
Wew laddies.
I'm having so much fun with this.
basically turns champ into recruit difficulty so it's not really fun at all
>unchained, ironbreaker, waystalker and foot knight game
>come across healing item
>we all ping it and look at each other
>everyone's using the regen trinket
>tfw can't put staff illusions on different types of staff
Wait I am new to this game. 5% on weapon only affects that weapon right? It's not some magical passive?
At least they fixed barkskin proccing from passive regen and temp hp so you cant be immortal like that
Also did they remove the "when you drink a potion you dont consume it but lose 20hp instead"
all the stats on a piece of equipment apply to your character overall, unless it specifically says otherwise (see the dagger's trait).
Fuck, I somehow didn't realize this. Now I feel stupid.
The real question is, does "power vs infantry" work against fartwizards and succomancers?
I still don't think regen is that good especially on anything higher than veteran
maybe ironbreaker because of his ridiculous tanking ability
but I would rather have any of the other traits
>yfw
should have saved your level up boxes
> Leveling Kruber with Huntsman
> Kill ribspreader
> Saltz player says "my ult is stronger lmao"
i used 44 commendation chests after breaking 200 item power and it only took me to about 230ish
this
>get to 200 gear score on vet, 3 max leveled characters
>easy pump to 300 with all the commendation chests
not opening them until tomorrow though since they are likely going to add cosmetics to chests
On anything except Ironbreaker & Waystalker I'd like having the "healing a guy also heals you" trait the most
On the other two, regen since I'll be carrying a tome right from the start
The max level is 300. You should have waited until you were around there. You also should have waited until after the beta was over so you could get reds you moron.
Well with Saltzpyre you can 2shot Riblad
Stupid is as stupid does
after you break 200 it makes no difference when you open the chests, there's no more caps besides the final 300 one. You either open >100 champion chests to reach 300 or you use commendation chests, the difference in rarity quality you get from champion/commendation is marginal at best.
I tried the 30% more healing on waystalker and it works with passive regen
so thats also an option
>ult
does anyone know how many items can you get crit chance on? like both weapons and the trinket I know, but can you get it on the neclace or the charm?
I shall have to test & compare
What are you smoking. At least on Champion regen trinket is amazing for a good player, regardless of their career. I doubt Lord will change this fact
It's amazing period. The only downside is countered by playing with friends or using a microphone to instruct people to heal each other.
Why the fuck are you so defensive? Dude's looking for advice, these are just what he got from observation
>tfw blasting a gutter runner out of the air with a repeater crossbow and then one-shotting a Rothelm with my active
just weapons and trinket
3x5% is the best you can get, like in
So what's the difference between critical hit temporary health gain perk and the normal one? Does the crit version grant more temp health? If not why would I use it if the max crit possibility is 25%? Or am I missing something?
And I'm offering him advice in the way that Kruber can definitely be a monster that kills everything in the path of the team. He is by no means a basic tanky character, if played correctly.
You get HP without needing to do the killing blow. Pretty obvious mate.
Gaining health on crits don't require a kill so it works well vs bosses when you arn't just executing them in one shot.
Sorry meant 20%
What is the MOST BROKEN character class right now, and what makes it so broken?
Definitely not just asking to find out who to level up to breeze my way through the harder difficulties
>play huntsman
>80 ranged kills 18 headshots
>play literally anything else
>230 ranged kills 96 headshots
I don't like this meme
Oh, that explains it.
If you want to breeze through shit you need ironbreaker dorf.
He's invincible as long as you're not shit at the game. You don't even have to be good, just not shit.
Huntsman Kruber without a shadow of a doubt. He can solo any boss from the get go with the retarded ultimate. Regardless of difficulty.
Ironbreaker is a babbymode choice where you cant die.
Hands how HM since his F feels like it should only work for the next attack he does.
Ironbreaker comes close but instead of damage his passive ignore a hit every 20/13 seconds is just too good in the hands of a half-decent player, to the point where you could go an entire missing without taking any damage.
What ranged weapon are you using?
Unchained Sienna is the most powerful for just solo carrying entire games
kk, then I'm not going to worry about it much much till reds come out since in the last bame at least they has better innate stats than any orange
I managed to get an orange bolt staff with the reduce active skill on crit, it's actualy hilarious on pyromancer against a decent sized horde you get the f off (thereby draining your overcharge) in about 10 seconds
>maybe ironbreaker because of his ridiculous tanking ability
Unchained has more damage reduction than ironbreaker though, which is why it's so good.
Can unchained Sienna delete a champion troll in about 5 seconds? If not then she is nowhere near Huntsman.
