Generic Temple Knight is ridiculous. He heals more per attack than I expected from a regular generic, and he's great for long drawn out battles or for making sure that the damage from random battles doesn't add up too much. It's especially ridiculous when he's in the free cities since his attack is likely to recover enough to counteract boss damage (or maybe I have way too many Free Cities cards.

Once you have enough auto-heal % you don't need to worry about damage from normal battles.

If she's capable of just shitting out Lexington's blood soul there's no reason why she couldn't be alive in part 2 though

They needed to add more dialogue flags for the dark lord girls. The way it's written now you basically forget Silky and Hawzel exist after the rescue Hornet mission and Hornet herself basically stops existing until you lock into an ending.
It's like they decided that because all of this was "Optional" that they couldn't be assed to actually account for the player doing it. Like I could rush to get Silky, Hornet or Hawzel but what's the point, it's not like they're going to give me any new dialogue during any of the other missions even if I do.

Timeskips are a sign of laziness, even more so when there are Arc 1 characters that could have used some extra screentime in Arc 2 to show how they changed after 15 years (That actually do appear in Arc 2) but they have barely any screentime

But you wouldn't be able to play as the children without the timeskip.

The timeskip was needed for Rance's kids to grow enough so that they could adventure
Also to explain how Rance's 5 year cycle worked i guess, since the kids intervene at the third occurrence
It was more at the end of the game anyway, rather than in the middle
