I liked Max and Chloe's pirate adventure
Max in the attic was super cute
Having to build a stepladder to get into the attic was a cute touch
I liked going through the treasure they buried
I liked Bloody Bill's tape
Just seeing Max and Chloe interacting again was so great (especially with Ash and Hannah back)
I'm sad Bongo was already dead and very disappointed that Farewell was set on the day of William's death

I think in the Eurogamer Let's Play with Zak, he explained Ashly altered a lot of the story by making David be sympathetic and diplomatic and Chloe less like the person she becomes. She was also responsible for a lot of the dialogue.

It's been discussed before. Ashly's reasoning is very personal and makes sense when viewing the game as life.
The problem is that it is a game and so there's no reason to apply real life requirements to it.
You don't have to move on from a loss if you can prevent that loss from happening.

A couple of extreme Legiontards targeted Michel and Luc last year when BtS debuted.

I mean they've been receiving plenty of hate since the end of Episode 5. I mean check the shitposter who has never failed to post this in every thread since 2015:

They accused Michel and Luc of being homophobic-misogynistic-sadists who got off on creating lesbian characters just to kill them brutally.

They claimed that Jefferson is supposed to be their avatar.

They demanded they relinquish all writing duties to a woman.

They sent death threats to them.

They made outrageous demands. They wanted DontNod to hand over all rights to LiS to Deck9.

They asked for DontNod to declare Bae canon or make an entirely new epilogue that was happy where everyone including Rachel survived.

When they got no response they got more persistent and turned to Deck9.

They asked Deck9 to not follow the canon of Season 1 at all so that depending on actions we get a new alternate timeline where Rachel is alive and she is still together with Chloe who also lives.

Once Ep3 of BtS, they turned on Zak and he went quiet.

Zak was responsible for the overall plot structure. Which was then overridden in the final months by executive decree. The rest of the writers focused on characters, how they would act and react.

The ending of the bonus episode though pretty much summed up everything about my love life, and her reactions, her physical fucking frustration at everything, clenching fists and just nothing to do, it was way too real
