I've used 6 and there isn't much of a difference between 4
I think that when you use 4 instead of 6 it doesn't rely on your gpu nearly as much, but I have no way fo actually testing it without it being a pain in the ass.
What I want to test later is see if setting it equal to the processor physical cores+gpu cores, and see if anything changes

No I’m saying I transform, and within 3-5 seconds it in transforms me back to normal, but the ultimate is still active. I am able to use skills from the bar I have werewolf slotted, but when I try to change weapons, it says “you cannot do that in werewolf form”. If I press ultimate again I go through a visual un-transformation and am able to switch weapons again

Honestly i'm fine with waiting, i've enjoyed the new content they've put out over the years and look at how good cwc was, despite having been revealed at what, quakecon 2014? Hopefully mephala's realm and possibly spellcraft end up being worth the wait as well.

Keep doing what you were doing up to now until you hit cp160. Should go relatively quick. Then start getting gear. You could probably do some non-cp pvp too.

You still have quite a ways to go, gear caps out at Champion 160. If you want to do pvp, try one of the campaigns where cp is disabled. You can get some pretty good skills from there, depending on your role, namely Warhorn, Vigor, Purge, and Caltrops.
