I didn't really like Second Chapter.

Can I ask why out of curiosity? I'd always assumed if someone liked FC they'd enjoy SC

It's pretty lame that all the locations are reused. I've never seen a JRPG do that. I also found much of the game meandering, as much as I enjoyed everything related to Joshua as well as the Ouroboros fights (and their backstory connection to the party members).

Vita referred to the grandmaster as a "supreme existence" and I think we should believe her. She's not a duvalie-tier girl who is prone to hyperbole. So what the fuck is the grandmaster? The only thing that makes sense given that description is a fellow goddess like Aidios, or Aidios herself.

Eh, that's true, but I didn't mind it as the early chapters go by quite fast and the enforcers are all great, especially the twist for chapter 3. Chapter 5 and everything past it is fucking crazy good though. The towers can be tiring but fighting the actual enforcers are some of the best fights in the series.

The towers force you to bring the respective party member I believe.
But yeah Axis Pillar doesn't, which is pretty crazy because Luciola and Walter give some pretty significant scenes if you bring Schera/Zin.

Yeah, I don't really like the Enforcers so the game isn't that fun for me. Dunno if it's Falcom's writing or XSeed's flair but they're all trying too hard to be threatening except Bleublanc.

I liked her much better on the second playthrough, armed with the knowledge that she gets over her tsun phase quickly and will be shoved in your face later. Those two aspects are super grating going into the game blind, but once your accept them, she's alright.

Pretty much this. The jealousy thing is what kinda turns me away from her romance the most, and just when you think she's over it she starts getting all grumbly and pouty over the idea that Rean might find other ladies attractive. But when she's not doing that shit, she's fine, and honestly I rather like her for how dorky she can be. It's much cuter.
