So I've shit on newer versions for years now, but 1.13 actually looks... fun

Its really immersive and fun to swim in the ocean now and there's a lot of variety. If anything it makes land seem bland in comparison.

I'm mostly just sad because it will take forever for mods to update to 1.13, and I don't even want to make that journey. Pixel Perfection also isn't going to be updated anymore, so it won't support 1.13.

They finally make good content and I can't even enjoy it.

>Pixel Perfection also isn't going to be updated anymore, so it won't support 1.13.
Only (you) can make it happen, learn and perfect your texture making

1.13 looks great (by Mojang standards), but even a broken clock is right once a day, their sheer incompetence keeps plaguing most decisions behind the game

That said, I personally really like the fact that tropical fish are procedurally given colors, patterns and shapes

>Pixel Perfection also isn't going to be updated anymore
Why though
Hopefully the community picks it up like many other older texture packs

Man, I love shulker boxes.
I don't know why. As a modded player, i've been exposed to items with way more versatility and function, but now that I've used them, I think I definitely prefer shulker boxes

They just feel pointless to me. Oh what's this you beat the entire fucking game. Your reward is chests that don't break.

I think you are thinking of mc too linearly, which is something I was doing too. I would say beating the enderdragon is pretty much just the end of the tutorial, now it's up to you to put your creative energies to work.

Shulker boxes fit well into that because they open up a number of automation potential and allow you to basically bring massive amounts of supplies along with you to supplement your building. Of course, in a modded environment, this has less appeal, but it's a good thing for the base game, I feel.

Well considering your only other option of moving a lot of storage at once is breaking a chest and moving every item that way, it's pretty useful. Plus you also get gliding.

I think that eons-old Iron Chests mod adds iron/gold/diamond shulker boxes now too.

>you can combine enchanted books on an anvil
How have I never known this

>remove pattern from me system
>i can still somehow autocraft that item even though this does nothing
thats just great

It does on 1.12

What version is indev on the launcher?

What's endgame mana storage like in Botania? My 60 mana pools with sparks aren't cutting it anymore and I ran out of space to put more.

well, that's your endgame

Automate creation of Mana tablets and fill them up from the pools, then store the filled tablets in a mass storage system.

Looks like op forgot to link the new thread in the previous one, again...

the previous one 404d before a new one was created

There's some kind of fabulous mana pool but I think it's just gay and doesn't actually have any more storage.
Just make more pools I guess. Or fuck around with Technomancy.

Is the Super Duper pack avaible for Windows yet?

>tfw twelve copper ores
why the fuck not just use Base Metals and Unidict as a dependency? I fucking hate that shit

Havent played since last year, since my old hard drive died, and I didnt back up my modpacks, textures, and what not. SO, after months of playing another game, Im back in and jumping straight into meme versions, instead of 1.7.10.

Im working on a skyblock that neither uses the retarded sky resources or the overused Exnihilo, while also probably making a new texture pack.

Playing modern skyblock a bit and checking out some of the mods in it.

I eat farts

Show your modpack?

Because modpack devs nowadays have lots of time to spend autistically minetweaking everything, but reading configs is still too hard for them.

So how do I make Infernal Mobs useful? The default drop table is fucking shit with just a bunch of boring vanilla items.

reliquary? its the only mod I can think of off hand that adds something akin to rare monster drops that do really nice things.

This forced meme will never be funny.

We take autism seriously around here.

put not shit items on their drop tables yourself, faggot

When I used it ages ago, I put in low level but tedious to craft stuff so I could hve the option of going out mob slaying to build up my stocks, like enderpearls or slates from blood magic

I miss numeric IDs because they forced people to fucking read configs, now it feels like every modpack ships with default config values somehow

I miss numeric item IDs because all I had to know was the number for whatever item and it was good but now I have to look up the plaintext mod ID and also whatever the fuck the item is labeled as and it's never as simple as a fucking number anymore.

How to make BoP more interesting without RTG?

rtg

Add random structures in specific biomes with Recurrent Complex or Ruins.

Keep in the meme biomes.

What happened that it got 404'd?
Some guro/porn shit?

Nothing happened, it just ded.

it was a really awful thread, all the OP was missing and it was some shitty self-advertising

>still no good complete agriculture mods on 1.10

>moving on to updated versions but staying on the outdated one

There couldn't possibly be a mod specifically on 1.10 I want to play with, that is outside the realm of reason.

OwO whats this

That actually looks neat

I wonder how it'll work with microblock mods?

>how it'll work
It won't

:(

I wonder how much lag it is going to cause

Apparently you can swim through the center of 4 stairs too, since they made swimming an actual thing and not just bobbing up and down.

So my current alchemy setup is an Empty golem feeding a dump chest into my Advanced Alchemical Furnace via Item Grate, and that gets pumped into a Thaumic Energistics storage network. It fills up pretty quickly so I've set up an automagy Vis Reader to shit the item grate when a particular buffer starts filling up. In concept it's working well, and I'm considering plunking a Reservoir in there to help buffer.

The problem I'm running into is that Item Grates are janky as fuck and have a bad habit of throwing items anywhere other than where they're supposed to be going.
Is there a better feeder I can use that won't load everything into the Furnace at once, isn't slow as shit, and ideally fits the magical theme?

hopper

I've tried a hopper and it fell in the "slow as shit" category. It's also ugly as sin.

open crate

In my opinion, the vanilla terrain generation should look more like BoP. I know that most of it is bloaty mods like le ghansta slum XD but having so much variety on the grass, the trees, the leaves, the flowers and weeds makes it to never go stale unlike vanilla which has been annoyingly boring ever since I started playing 5 years ago. It only needs more variants of tall grass, flowers and a few more lively and different shades of grass.
Nice, honestly hyped with all the new shit they've been pumping.

Hoppers are slow as shit but so is the AAF. I've got an insane 71 cv energized node feeding mine and it can still only handle up to 2 hoppers dropping shit into it, any more and it gets clogged.

>Item Grates are janky as fuck and have a bad habit of throwing items anywhere other than where they're supposed to be going.
That's sad, I love them and I've never seen them do that sort of thing. Then again I don't recall having use them for the AAF either. Maybe it's because there isn't enough block space from its mouth to where things go until they're melted down?

>putting a lens on any spreader makes them point upwards or to a random angle
>right clicking (not shift) on any mana spreader with my wand in function mode makes then change direction
what the fuck is going on with my game

found the cause, it was iron backpacks. removing my backpack crashed the server. what a great mod

nevermind it was not iron backpacks my game is still fucked

now i actually found the issue, the ring of far reach absolutely fucking messes with the wand of the forest. unequip before using the wand!

It certainly looks better, but it looks like it has no solid redstone control. I could use an inhibitor perhaps.
>clogging on two hoppers
How even? I've switched to a tallow golem and it seems to be a fair speed comparatively.
I've always had the issue no matter how much space is below or what it's feeding into, usually it's the item just bouncing out or getting picked back up, but in this particular instance it's a huge mess when it start to bug.

>Go to the moon
>Extra Planets kills you for not wearing a complete spacesuit on top of Galacticraft's full getup
>There's nothing fucking there, you're literally wandering around looking for a dungeon so you can get off this lifeless rock

>There's nothing fucking there, you're literally wandering around looking for a dungeon so you can get off this lifeless rock
Galacticraft.txt

>How even? I've switched to a tallow golem and it seems to be a fair speed comparatively.
Fuck if I know. I just know that even with 2 hoppers, the second batch of item drops before the first one finishes cooking. So that's about as far as it can go. You're sure they're cooking inside of your furnace right? Otherwise they're gonna despawn.

>h of item drops before the first one finishes cooking. So that's about as far as it can go. You're sure they're cooking inside of your furnace right?
That's specifically what that vis reader is for, when the last essentia buffer is over half full it closes the furnace off to prevent anything else from getting dropped in, allowing it to drain and melt anything left inside. The only things that don't get melted are items that fall through the furnace or show up in the middle of the room due to Grate jank.

...

After messing around with Heat and Climate conveyor belts I can finally understand the attraction

That's why Advanced Rocketry is superior. It adds more custom options and at least has the option of milking other planets for ores and gas.

Well you're in luck, the rest of the 9 billion planets are exactly the same!

For whatever fucking reason, at completely random intervals, some of my item frames just disappear. Usually in a 3x3 cube. What the hell could be causing it?

Is it bad that I really want to fine a *pure* vanilla server?

Like, no mods, no shitty economy plugins, maybe some simple anti-grief, but mostly just. Vanilla.
Watching Grian's Evo stuff really has me in the mood for it, but I want other people around.

if only you had friends

I'm playing pure vanilla and it's fun, so long as you can give yourself goals. Having friends to play with helps too.

I made a little store on the server, it's basically just a way for me to pawn off shit I have too much for, but it's weirdly gratifying going in and seeing my friends having bought stuff

I have a lot of farms I want to try to make, I've done some shitty plant farms, a mob far, and an enderman xp farm so far, I want to do a villager farm and slime farm sometime soon

Why are mobs spawning even when I put a torch on every single tile?

Screenshot or it didn't happen

Should've told me half an hour ago, I already got the fuck out of that dimension. Could it be something about RFTool dimensions?

>tfw this will never be finished

Hey guys, I've been playing mc off and on over the last month, but I can’t log back on to my account now for some reason.

I bought it a long time ago before Microsoft bought it out, and I’ve had no problems with that until now. I really don’t want to spend $30 on it with a new Microsoft account, especially since I’ve already bought it, is there anything I can do?

Which one?

Someone give me a modpack that'll run on < 2GB of RAM. Preferably one that contains forestry.

that 5 year old pack

Contact support, maybe you can have them dig up what happened to your old username.

At that size, make your own.

- Minecraft (base game)
- Forestry

You're welcome

Those new fish are adorable.

I was a little annoyed that the new update so far had mostly just seemed like another re-implementation of mods (and fucking cliffracers, I guess), but this actually seems...neat? I don't remember the last time I was really interested in a new vanilla update.

>there's an enchantment for the trident that causes lightning to strike the mob it hits

How exploitable

I'm trying to run Chinjufu on 1.10.2 but I keep getting "Error: net.minecraftforge.fml.common.LoaderExceptionModCrash: Caught exception from Railcraft (railcraft)"
What do I do?

Is there a mod that adds wind chimes?

What is the mcg discord? I need somewhere to talk about minecraft that isn't a website about minecraft or reddit and /mcg/ is too ded. I heard the discord is dead too but it only takes one active person to have a conversation.

Does anyone remember this one very old (beta times) modpack/fork of minecraft, where one could build an adventure map in minecraft?

No idea- but I'd never heard of the mod before and it looks neat, so thanks, I guess?

What mods for 1.12 add steam power? Flaxbeard's is in the process of being rewritten, Railcraft isn't updated, Pneumaticraft is the fucking definition of feature creep, and Reikashit is off the table for what should be obvious reasons.

nvm its called "AdventureCraft" its from 1.3.2

Check both mods for dependencies you may be missing, and recommended versions of Forge for each.

Apparently Millenaire has a beta out for 1.12. I haven't played with it in ages- has anyone else tried out the new version? I remember its biggest problem was being laggy as fuck.
