But her character traits feed into each other. Who she is isn't just "because that's who she is" - she's so distant and daydream-y because she can't identify herself, she can't identify herself because she devotes every part of her towards her art, and she devotes every part of herself towards her art because she believes that if she can properly communicate through her art, she can communicate properly with other people.

Only other idea I've had that I'm interested in writing is Akira turning to Misha instead of Hisao in a non-Lilly route out of desperation, and Misha doing her attempt at talking Lilly out of it, and arguably succeeding, although I want to leave this one open-ended.

I've got this idea banked for now, as I've got a personal, non-KS related project to work on.

She wouldn't be able to, nor would she be likely to, say that, as she relies on sign language and says herself this forces her to think through what she says. If you need motivations well, consider why you want to write, and focus on that! Some people do it because they like their own story (like, putting their daydreaming on paper), some just want to contribute to the community, some are after the (you)'s... Whatever you want to write for, has to be your main motivation!
