Not a clue. I almost always play my vita connected to my laptop via cable whenever I play at home. Only exceptions being when I have to stand next to my router now for multiplayer. Did you buy some Chinese ripoff cable or are you using the original one that came with your vita. My experience is that some don't fit properly and don't transfer data well from vita to computer and vice versa.

Is your cable falling apart on you? Try checking around the parts that connect in to check for damage. Also, in a lot of cases, you'll just get a screen that says "could not connect to w/e" but it actually is.

Is this the error you're getting? Because you can literally ignore it, hit OK, and then probably still do any transfers you need. There's actually no problem. If you can't transfer things properly, try unplugging and replugging the cables after straightening the cords out first.

In most cases, you will have no issues after that, but I can't help you if none of those things resolve your issue. Reconnecting usually solves the problems of "timer counting up" so you won't ever see things like this.

PS button, start and select are different and better on the 2k. Might just be mine but the shoulders are better on the 2k too.

Getting a 2k eventually, I'll be sorely disappointed if the d-pad is inferior as the oled vita legit has the greatest d-pad I've ever seen.
