You're talking about the override sets that are called "Hair textures", "sclera textures" and "hair highlights: in the card MEGA, correct? If so, my advice applies.

If you want to use them:
>Hair textures: read the Archive Overrides page. Fill in the "File" box with "A00_20_00_00_00.tga" (w/o quotes)
>Hair highlights: There's a special AAU function for hair highlights in the Hair tab.
>sclera textures: Read the Mesh overrides page in the guide. Fill in the top box with "A00_10_00_00_02.bmp" (w/o quotes). There is a drop-down menu but sometimes it doesn't always show the texture you need, so remember this one, especially since sclera overrides are one of the most common override types.

Thanks. Since it really only makes sense together with the Futa bodies I suppose it would have to go in that folder as an alternative version.
I want to try it out some more first in any case, this was just a test if I could get it working on the base body.

Those files will still be available, and they'll be linked in the Bookmarks page of the doc with the cards.

Downloading and using mod cards was something you could always do, regardless of whether you had the overrides or not. If there's something that a mod card has that you don't have, AAU will copy those things out of the mod card and put them in the proper places. All you have to do is place the card in data\save\Female (if female) or data\save\Male (if male), then open up the maker, select the card and click "Display"

I'm a bit confused about modding with the AA2 preinstalled version.

both the AA2 and AA2mini torrents on tsukiyo are the same torrent, but on AA2mini he says that modding with AA2install is not supported, while on the regulare AA2 page he says you just need to edit the registry.

So which is it? can I mod with AA2install still or can I only use pp2 mods?

So following the notes.txt in the mega for AA2U mods like hexaoc, i've gotten the extra hairs and such to appear listed, but the numbers are all greyed out and i can't select them, what am i missing?
