It's a fun little bit of fan service, at least for the first two episodes. The third episode shits the bed worse than Season 1's Episode 5 did, though in much more of a mundane way.

There's some good stuff in BtS, so if you're a fan of Season 1 it's probably worth playing. Just don't go into it expecting much more than fan service. And that's just for BtS proper: I think the Farewell episode is nice little extra ... so if you're on the fence about BtS, I'd say let Farewell push you over. It's much more relevant to Season 1 than BtS.

So, I'd say go for it. Or otherwise, maybe watch part of Episode 1 on YouTube to see if you're into it or not.
