I find it a lot easier to use the mouse, I use the bottom thumb button for stairs, upper thumb button for walls and V for floors. Haven't really found any use for the roof yet but that's probably because I'm still shit at the game because I started playing recently.

No, V-Bucks are not exclusive to each game mode. You can use PVE Bucks to buy the Battle Pass or PVP bucks from the Battle Pass to buy Llamas in PVE.

The factories to the north-east of Flush Factory are amazing if you want lots of wood early since pallets give so much wood.

Motel up by anarchy acres has 4 chest spawn locations, though I find it averages 2. I like dropping there. A lot of the unnamed POI are solid drop zones.

That's easy as fuck though. If you really don't like your challenge click "Inspect Challenges" at the bottom of the lobby screen. You can abandon a challenge and they'll give you a different one. You can only abandon one challenge per day though.
