Vikings are objectively the easiest to perform well with - the only exception being the Valkyrie. Generally Vanguards (Warden, Kensei, Raider) are the simplest to operate, but Kensei just got a revamp to his moveset so he's a bit more complicated now. That being said, the game doesn't have a super-high skill ceiling. I'd just play anyone you like aesthetically or think is fun.

I would say Shaman or Zerk.
Warden and Raider are easier to pick up, but that's because they're basic bitches with only a few useful tools.

Everyone saying Warden, Roach, and Cent are the worst are forgetting that Raider's in the same boat, his only time to shine is if he's charging in from offscreen in 4v4 or if the opponent's dumb enough to OOS themselves in 1v1 (i.e. the only time Warden is good too, except Raider's OOS mixup is way easier to deal with). Why does everyone keep overlooking how underfed Raider is?
