targeting is bad for a lot of melee skills, although you can fix that with the multistrike support gem. targeting with certain spells can also be iffy if you use spell echo support gem with them.

And both of those builds are shit if you ever plan to kill any boss.

i'm using barrage and half the time my character locks slightly off the enemy missing it completely, and it's really difficult to have the monster hp bar stay on the top

if i kill the elder/guardians in a map i don't have unlocked, will it complete the map bonus? i don't want to pay to repair my shaped strats.

What build is the most satisfying to clear with? We all know the answer is autobomber.

A lot of the namelock skills can be fixed by forcing shift via numlock bullshit, though I'm still not certain why it isn't just a toggle option in the options menu. It works for Wild Strike, Molten Strike, Lightning Strike, Reave, and a few others that I can't remember. Possibly Glacial Hammer if you use the threshold jewel. Frost Blades has a massive range boost to compensate, as well.

The only skill currently still completely fucked which is both A) Designed for AoE and B) Namelock, is Static Strike.

There's no such restriction. While you can very rarely encounter one on a level 5-6 character, reports are saying it becomes much more common after level 7-8.

Depends on your budget

Chieftain gets the highest regen but doesn't offer much besides that

Jugg gets 2% plus 13% reduced ele damage taken on full ECs, obviously very tanky vs physical damage

Scion Guardian/Chieftain + Trickster could probably work well too, high regen amplified on kill, plus frenzy charges that you can use with Blood Dance for more regen
