I don't think enough people acknowledge that this character did literally nothing wrong and was the only one smart enough to realize from the get-go that the animatronics were dangerous
And even after getting brought back by Charlie, he just ends up becoming more or less the most powerful animatronic in the franchise and does whatever the fuck he wants. Truly based.

Unless you're Isaac, I don't think any of you would be anything but terrified if your brother strolled around scaring you with the mask of who you know are killer animatronics, and you had to go there multiple times a week, in close proximity to the killing machines
Nothing in the game points to him knowing that the animatronics like to murder people, outside of a vague line from his retroactive plush toy saying "You know what they'll do when they catch you!", or something similar. Which might've been coming from the possible "all just a dream" stage of the lore
Without that knowledge, and without much in the way of explanation for his home life, he comes off as a lot weaker since none of the minigames hint towards him having any of that. He's still a hell of a lot more sympathetic than the other characters, though. And he makes Puppet look more like a psychotic bitch.
I know it's a Matthew "I'm Pickle Sans!" Patrick theory, but based on the detail of Fredbear having a stomach mouth similar to a scooper, as well as the girl talking about how the animatronics kill you and corporate hides the bodies, I don't think it's a stretch to say he was aware of their violent tendencies.

Sister Location and 6 weren't planned when 4 was made. I don't think the Crying Child was meant to be Purple's son, either. In any case, it seems unlikely he'd come across an underground scooper.
A good work around that retains the "I saw something I shouldn't have" angle would be if the kid was locked up at Freddy's while they closed, and hid away while the Small Souls Trapped In Prisons Of Henry's Making go roaming and eventually murder a night guard in full detail, with the final animatronic of the game being based on the imagery of a stuffed suit.
I don't think the murders (of those five) had happened yet in FNAF 4. It seems like they happened in 1987 right before or during FNAF 2. Even the books give the year of 1985, which is two years later.
How would a game with the Mediocre Melodies play?
The blue one from Happiest Day is the Golden Freddy and/or FNaF 1 Freddy of the bunch. Also, the mechanics for keeping them away from your office somehow exploits the fact they're dependent on car batteries.
Concept Unification. It's in their name- Mediocrity. They're probably more disposable than Freddy and friends, and Orville especially looks like cheap plastic
SL toyed with the idea of "animatronic mistreatment", but never actually did anything with it beyond a few Handunit jokes. The game was really more about Elizabeth than anything else.
There's a horror behind the idea of being torn down and turned into somebody else, with parts of you still being on the inside.

I find it odd that the concept of harming the animatronics still upsets me slightly, despite knowing they're basically all assholes.
I honestly didn't care less for any of the animatronics emotionally, possessed or not up until FFPS and the Mediocre Melodies and Rockstars came in.

Maybe you have to fix them, sort of like the Funtime Freddy part in Sister Location? Occasionally it won't be clear if they are moving on their own or not, and will sometimes go missing. I don't know. I'm glad he included them in FFPS.

Oh man, these were all really good. Especially the lewds. I loved Rockstar Chica's complete apathy towards Chica and Michael and Helpy's cute little relationship as coworkers, and the punchlines just kept coming. The FNAF 4 story was also pretty spooky, you did a good job there setting up some tense scenes.

well I'm not surprised that Balloon Boy is up to his usually tricks, but what JJ does sounds utterly nightmarish, especially in regards to having multiple animatronics working alongside them. Having both of them in action during 50/20 mode is going to be hellish for sure.

Rockstar Foxy rushes at you like the original Foxy, but due to his pegleg, it looks more like slow, creepy shambling.
