the main problem with the patch isn't some objective flaw in the game's design. it's that it isn't fun. there are so many variables in a typical pub game that completely fuck up your game and you have no power over them. enemy team drafts a 4 disable safelane against your offlane, and your supports won't rotate? you will have virtually no impact for the rest of the game. enemy team starts babysitting your opponent on the mid lane? unless your team rotates to help, you've lost that lane. you played support perfectly, but your carry is a baboon and the enemy carry isn't? well too bad, you lost the game because safelane carries have to essentially make up for 40% of the team's impact this patch.

there were several precautions to keep awful shit like this from happening in previous patches. static babysitting was punished by lower deny XP, jungling was stronger and safelane carries weren't as untouchable or as powerful as they are now.

comebacks aren't always just about gold/xp. it can also be draft related. in the past, before comeback gold/xp, your draft for the mid/late could be really bad but your players could be really good at early laning and roaming, so you could snowball that to a "comeback" victory. it was fun because you'd feel like a good player by outplaying your enemies. but now, with how static and predictable everything is, it's almost impossible to make up for a shitty draft by playing well.

why even bother replying if you aren't going to read sentences in full? the fact that the land has disables wasn't the point of that statement, it's the fact that you can't do anything against a lane like that if the enemy supports opt not to rotate out or your supports don't rotate to help.

yes you could, because 1) creeps met closer to your tower, 2) denies were weaker and 3) supports were punished more for static laning and had less gold and 4) jungling was more viable and 5) PMS was an item that let you trade with supports more easily and 6) boots were cheaper and 7) bounties were farther from the lane and 8) your shrine was closer and usable earlier. i could probably go on but it's probably a waste of time with a person like yourself.

it depends entirely on your team. jungling is dogshit now so you can't recover there. mid and safe are for mid and safe laners. if your team can't secure you comeback gold/xp then you will essentially be a pos 4-5 in terms of impact, if you're lucky.

How about the times where bkb had 10 second duration?
How about before 6.82, when your carry could get a couple kills, snowball from there and there was nothing you could do to retaliate?

All this changes were made for those times where the offlane wasnt offlane because it was too easy. Any hero could offlane and punish the safe lane, making carries unable to farm anything. Only early powerhouses like gyro or luna could flourish there, therefore the offlane nerfs so other type of HC can flourish, like AM or medusa.

True, but jungling was always supposed to be a way to earn gold when you can't lane, not "another way to get gold". The second implies you should complete leave laning, completely forget about laning phase, and just jungle your way to win, remember those days? oh yeah sure i remember those offlanes like beastmaster that never laned, just went jungle and solo killed the carry everytime. I also remember those 6.83 days of troll jungle, so much fun!

You forget that PMS is also (and more of) a carry thing. Offlaners were more about usings skills, creep manipulation and making plays rather than unzonable shit like void. Icefrog thought it would help offlaners more if you remove PMS since am, jugg and others were popular agi melee carrys that loved pms so they could just solo the lane. And other offlaners that really didnt benefit from PMS that much like clock or underlord could do better against that.
Keep struggling with the offlane though, just refuse to adapt. Im glad that now the offlane is back to where it was: a hard lane.

Huskar was an attempt at cheesing a win, it's that simple.

There's a decent few contact spells you won't be able to Euls blink from like Earth Spike, Puck orb or Storm remnant because they deal damage as soon as you enter the AoE, spells that use ticks can be blunk through.
