One thing I've always wondered about Rin is how she feels about her lack of privacy. She needs help getting dressed, and for many hygiene activities. Like that one time she needed Emi's help to administer a tampon. She probably needs help going to the bathroom too. I wonder if she is at all embarrassed by this. I mean it must be very uncomfortable to have all these people see your body and private areas. Maybe she's used to it since she doesn't know any other way.

If we look at the lack of better options... Lilly, Shizune don't need that. Their family is wealthy, and they can have a career. That's a big "no" for them. Emi's family probably isn't very wealthy, and she has no career path other than running. Which doesn't pay unless you're the best of the best. Especially in the paralympics, and a girl at that. So she might struggle. Rin... If her painting sells well, she could be set for life. If they don't, she could be homeless. Bit of a wild guess here. If she can't paint for a living, she can't do much else. Problem is, she can't really do much in a gang either, with no hand. mental retardation aside Hanako... If she overcome her fears she could do something, she's not super dumb or anything. Can she?
About the other one, predisposition to violence... Emi is the only one who fit the bill. Aggressive, violent (wrestle, headbutt, etc.. ), very physical, etc... She's also prone to great fits of anger. Shizune is competitive and "aggressive" but not in the physical sense. The other 3 don't have an ounce of physical aggression.

I must say that Shizune has a tendency to believe in laws&rules... unless it applies to herself. This is probably a very common behavior in criminal-minded people... When 2 evil gangsters are against each other, they'll both think 'the other one' is an evil maniac, while they're just "doing what needs to be done", even tho they're basically the same. Shizune could get to think like that, I believe.
Obviously one of the girl's parent being a gang member drastically increases the odds of their daughter following suit. Maybe Shizune could be moved a few notches to the left.
