Confession: I pirated both EV and PBS (Neither of which I played much since I just wanted to try them out) because I think the series has been declining since Deep Crimson and if 7even isn't good enough I'll likely drop the series for good.

I've never beaten Burst or SV, but I'm playing through SV now and hope to platinum it soon. EV is the game I've played most, but DC is my favorite. I haven't played any of the phone or untranslated games.
The first time I played senran kagura was the new hebijo story in SV
that raised my expectations way too high for the rest of the series

I beat both routes of Burst, all 4 of SV, all of 2 bar the shooter DLC all of the main story and a few Girl's Hearts/Dual Hearts in EV, did a few characters in BA I never did Haruka what the fuck am I doing, playing PBS slowly at the moment and played some New Link, gachas aren't really my thing. Honestly the game I had the hardest time finishing was 2, having the True Orochi fight spoilt for me and knowing that most of the cast gets absorbed by her killed any motivation I had to finish the game. Took me a solid year and a bit at least to get back to it.

I bought both Dekamori parts on Vita but only played the Hanzo/Crimson one, it's the only SK game I haven't platinumed, and never will because the Vita wasn't mine in the first place.
I 100% Burst In SV I finished the story mode for Gessen and Hebijo, then gave up halfway through Hanzo because the gameplay I couldn't stand the repetitive gameplay any longer and the story was shit from the start. I never got to unlock the Crimson squad despite them being my favorites. I finished the Deep Crimson story mode and the DLC, but quickly gave up on the challenge mode because the gameplay wasn't engaging enough. I pirated EV, got halfway through before giving up because it was too similar to SV both in gameplay and story. I pirated PBS, skipped the dialogues, tried the tutorial and deleted the game.
To simplify this whole thing: Senran Kagura is basically if Harry Potter was a bunch of big titty anime girls trying to be ninja's instead of wizards.
The different schools are different "houses." They aren't inherently good nor evil to one another, but they are in constant competition because something something improves the students skills.
None are samurai, they're "shinobi." Yes, it's different. None of them have reached that point yet, like Harry Potter not really being a wizard during school, just knowing some low level shit.
Nobody is strongest, they've all kicked the shit out of each other in different ways and for different reasons. Anyone saying someone is strongest is defending their waifu. Daidouji Jotaro and Rin are considered some of the stronger ones, with some of the other teachers just as strong.

I'm just looking at them as individual characters in a vacuum in this case. The spoiler part was just for fun/drama, thinking of it like a rom com like "she's all that" or something.where the guy "fixes" a broken girl. Truthfully, we have no idea how Kumo's personality would change if she ever got over her shyness and poor self esteem. She could turn into a Stacy, or she might be loyal, who knows.
Shinovi Versus, Estival Versus and Huniepop are the only 3 games I have perfect achievements in on Steam. They're all in my "Guilty Pleasures" category. I HAD another No Man's Sky but they added more achievements and I haven't felt like playing it again to finish them. Most times I finish games at about 40-60% of the achievements.
