I just finished my first playthrough and I don’t know what to feel. As much as I liked Chloe I couldn’t see them being able to live with themselves after wiping out the town. I chose to sacrifice her and I’m currently a wreck because it hits home; I’ve had to say goodbye to many friends in my life. At the same time it feels like it would be wrong to sacrifice the bay just so that you could be selfish and have your best friend live.

You can read the lines in the dressing room, I almost missed them, and I screwed up 1 or 2 but it was still good enough.

That's understandable, but to me, the whole ordeal is pointless if I don't save Chloe. While her powers might have caused the storm, Max didn't ask for them nor should she be expected to understand them.

This is Stephanie Gingrich.

Stephanie lives in a town of less than 1,000 people and is the only openly gay female at Blackwell Academy.

You can likely count the number of suitable mates for her in all of Arcadia Bay on one hand.
There is, however, one girl in drama club that seems to be curious based on Stephanie's keen eye and sharp gaydar, and she would like to show she is interested.

But! It would so have it that this girl would be Rachel Amber, the most popular student in school. She could have anyone she wants! How can young Stephanie make herself stand out in the crowd? She will need to carefully plan this out, so that she can make a strong case for herself.

Stephanie is working as the stage manager for Blackwell's performance of "The Tempest", which will be starring none other than Rachel Amber herself. She has this working in her favor!

Through her reasonably successful side hustle of selling bootleg DVDs, she happens to meet a troubled young classmate, one Chloe Price, who turns out to be a new friend of Rachel Amber. Perfect, she thinks! She can figure out what this Rachel is into, and surely that will make it easier for her to plan her next move!

Flash forward just twenty-four hours, and wouldn't you know it, that Chloe Price appears to be into girls, and has caught the eye of Stephanie's prospective girlfriend! Fate could not be so cruel, could it? Now she must find the courage to ask Chloe if there is something between them.

Later that day, whilst placing the finishing touches on her meticulously crafted plans for the stage performance that will take place that evening, she runs into Chloe Price once again. She is crestfallen to discover that Chloe and Rachel Amber are now an item.

To add insult to injury, Stephanie's best friend is hospitalized that afternoon, and Stephanie will have to abandon her hard work on "The Tempest" to be alongside her friend as he recovers.
