Succ bombs and armor makes for a very strong kit. 89's kit isn't as great but still usable if you can get a lot of missiles out.

the 85 lets you literally shoot and run forward nonstop like a mongol thanks to ink armor being a free tank refill

This game is getting quite frustrating to be honest. I just can't seem to be able to enjoy playing my favorite weapons without feeling underpowered. The more I play the more I realize the balance is jarring. I'm S+x in all 4 modes by the way before you tell me get better.

Splats and builds up Special hella quick. The original's kit is best.

All the fun weapons are useless unless you know 100% certain it'll be useful on a map because of how situational they are. I don't even bother with scoped stuff anymore.

I main the GAL52 but there's no point when you can get the red dualies with have more range + the dodge or the splatpro which has more range and higher rate of fire.

Abilities depend on weapons and playstyles. There are no mandatory or broken abilities, only some useless ones.
Swim Speed is probably the most universally useful, can't go wrong with it. Otherwise it heavily depends on weapon.

Willing to adopt any cute /ink/ OC's that are being abandoned by their asshole owners for the new Octos

Since this is a joint NA-EU Splatfest, we can't expect results for three hours or so?

See the thing is that oddly enough I like playing a hybrid of support and offense which really clash first of all but also there is
a) no weapons I can find that can do support well other than chargers which I'm shit at and
b) even if there was a good support weapon I still might not think it fits my playstyle

The squids I have created over time are not established OCs, they're just templates where I frequently change everything about them at my whim.

It varies by mode, but some with the highest usage are n-zap 85, splattershot (and tentatek), splat roller, splat charger, blaster (and rapid blaster), forge, and machine.
Use motion controls and you should be good to go.

Someone should draw an abandoned Woomy shelter. We already have some woomies for it like Hurricane, Launcher, Hobo, Business and Construction.
