well, you should see whether or not he's going to be completely useless in the event first before you get annoyed about that. i played with a ton of lagunas in this event, they were helpful despite not being featured. also this, some hosts might be autistic about you not having an affinity weapon, but not most from my experience in this event

This is just silly. I've said this a few times by now, but I got to 2 million points in five days exclusively by raiding with /ffg/. Not a single pub run and my first day of bells plus a few others were wasted and got me no points. You dial that back to a more casual level where it takes you twice as long as me to finish and you're still done with almost a third of the event's duration left to go. And I've never seen an /ffg/ host disband over something like that.
I keep trying to tell them that but folks keep screaming about how it'll take years of their life to get perfect artifact passives so we should all just drop the game now.
