Yeah I guess you're right. I just saw the jacket and the sash and assumed it was supposed to be the same outfit but the artist decided to add cleavage to it. Regardless, I'd still like to see that modeling outfit as a costume.

Why would you play P5 in english at all when it's essentially a non-canon version of the game with the script modified by 8 underpaid amateurs? It's virtually the same thing as pirating a VN with all the music switched out and random lines replaced with memes by the guy that uploaded it.
Because it's better than just waiting for the translation patch of the retail version to come in 2 years

Don't be a toxic purist user, just accept that the english is here to stay and all of it is canon, because this isn't Japan, and death of the author allows it.
I really hope there will never be a German dub for p5. For some reason, there are only about 5 voice actors her that are used for EVERY game so you already know them from too many roles. Which means that you have this weird moment when spongebob is Ryuji and mr. Krabs is Shido

it's canon that the phantom thieves frequently mistake psychotic breakdowns and mental shutdowns for each other? it's canon that the cop in the prologue is a psychic who can predict phonecalls? how is it even possible for both the japanese and english version to be canon when there are countless aspects of the localization that directly contradict in the japanese version? which explanation for akechi's abilities is canon? the answer is the japanese version; the mistakes in the english version are mistakes, and they tarnish the legitimacy of said version. not even a fucking idiot would consider the localization canon, it's ultimately just an alternate interpretation of the game, and a shit one at that.

If it weren't canon, it would have been stated as such, like Falcom's recent translation recall. The fact they allow it means it's not only authorized, but just as canon as the JP text. If there's a contradiction, the language you're more familiar with wins out and should be considered definitive. You are being very exclusionary just to wax off your knowledge, which really just contributes to the toxicity of the JRPG community and helps foster division. You might not like it, but nobody truly cares and arguing about JP canon being superior really just makes you sound very bitter and angry.
You're assuming Atlus JPN has direct involvement with Atlus USA, and we just dont know that. Even the impression of Atlus JPN is that they don't even acknowledge Murrican Atlus. Why else would something as obvious as 'Ann' happen?
Im not familiar with the translation recall you're talking about, but Xseeds localization of Falcom's Kiseki series went over so well that Falcom actually used some of the english in later promotional and spin off materials. Helps that Xseed are just a bunch of autistic fanboys though. They've gone back and extensively edited past translations, and then later blogged about it.

>If it weren't canon, it would have been stated as such, like Falcom's recent translation recall. Falcom never said anything about canon, hell they never said anything. NIS were the ones who stated the translation was poor and in need of fixing. Atlus JP would never outright say the translation is non-canon, and given they clearly had little to no involvement with the translation, they likely have no idea just how shit it is. But you're fucking retarded if you think any version other than the original is canon. The English version is a separate product handled by a separate team, and it differs in plenty of respects - it is not the game that Atlus JP's staff intended. If anyone were to ask which is the definite product, or the canon one, any sane person would say the original. The mistakes in the translation are mistakes, they are not canon -- they cannot be canon. >You are being very exclusionary just to wax off your knowledge, which really just contributes to the toxicity of the JRPG community and helps foster division. Cry me a river. >You might not like it, but nobody truly cares and arguing about JP canon being superior really just makes you sound very bitter and angry. I'm not arguing about superiority, I'm just saying that only one version can be canon since they directly contradict each other, and when the two differ, the canon one is sure as fuck the original. Fuck ups are just that.
FUCK ALL OF YOU! All of you faggots have garbo taste in Persona games. Every one of you probably cling to your favorite Persona crying and trying to convince yourselves that they're they best but you're ALL WRONG. Fuck Persona 5, fuck Persona 4, fuck Persona 3, fuck Persona 2, and fuck Persona 1. The best, the definitive, and the quintessential Persona game is Aegis: The First Mission. Anyone who disagrees is WRONG.

A special stage show with the VAs will be held at Anime Japan on the 25th and there's gonna be another streaming on the 28th. So maybe it'll be on either of those dates.
