I can't get past this double tempered Beetlejuice quest. I get LITERALLY one shot by bombs that are just scattered around that randomly decide to explode. It's complete and utter bullshit. I knock one on the ground and then the other comes dive bombing from the next zone one shotting me. Who the fuck designed this absolute garbage?
Either use ranged weapons or learn to use your eyes and only attack the legs until all of his bomb testicles have fallen off.

I understand joining random SOS for fun when there's no /mhg/ room up at the moment, but SOSing your own investigations (especially 4-5 reward ones) is just asking to get fucked.
I've been playing MH since 2004 and this is the first game I've ever felt actively punished for wanting to play with other people. Everything is so much easier solo even before factoring in the shitloads of incompetent nips.
What's the quickest way to get tempered investigations (mostly T2 for now since i only just reached end game)
I somehow got a Tempered Legiana investigation by luck, but after doing it 5 times it expired and despite picking up every single track on the way to the fight every time i didn't get any more tempered investigations.
Are they really that rare? Am i going to have to FIND trakcs first and then collect them for hours just for a single tempered investigation? I tried the mushroom collection event quests but it seems that all the tracks in that quest are 1 time only and you clear out the entire forest in like 10 minutes.

It's RNG, so if your luck is bad you won't get any new tempered investigations. The only way to get them is a dice roll that occurs when getting research points related to the monster, so pick up footsteps and break parts.

Make sure your armor is fully upgraded, first off. Fire res helps with the bomb damage, but you should have eyes on the monster watching where he drops bombs.

Hey GS fags, I got a question for you I'm using Jagras Hacker III, it's got shit blue sharpeness. Most builds don't even bother with handicraft. Do you think bludgeoner is worth getting if I can get it without sacrificing other skills?
I quit this bullshit game. The end game quests just aren't fun at all. It sure is fun avoiding one shots for 15 minutes so I can not get the Deco I need to make my hunt only last 13 minutes where it can still one shot me.
Can't play with people cause it turns a 15 minute hunt into a 20 minute hunt cause lol more health.
Game is absolute shit. No wonder high rank is dead.
Green Sharpness is the Goldilocks zone for Bludgeoner. It would be worth it using the Zorah GS but it would take too long for the Jagras GS to reach green sharpness. So no in this case
