Then you end up with 2 fights that get you hyped up and then immediately you get shafted with unsatisfying ends to them. It's not bad, but it just has really unsatisfying ends to almost every single fight in the entire VN, ESPECIALLY the final fights. The only one off the top of my head that I can remember not feeling like that was Shirou v. Wilhelm in Kasumi's route. Trifa mindbreaking Schreiber was my favorite scene in the whole thing.

It's like everything was building up to those moments and I felt they delivered in that regard
I also love how Dies Irae is probably the only VN that can make a massive one-sided fight incredible satisfying and memorable, like the 3 Battalion Commanders fights in Rea's route.
