Ok, I've been farming some gp and finally have enough to buy either dual Ascensions or dual Seismics.
Which one should I go for? I use range/mage pretty much the same amount. Already have all 3 noxious.

side notes include

I would make whips an exotic and fun type of weapon to use with their own animations and abilities instead of being another scimitar reskin.
A piercing effect for 2h crossbows, ie, hits up to 4 enemies in a single file
Oh and their strength and hit rating would scale with agility.

How do you train ranged as an ironman? It seems pretty daft that you need x+15 levels in fletching and x+40 levels in smithing to be able to make level x arrows/bolts, at least until you can make broad arrows.
Salamanders seem good but the ammo looks like a pain in the arse and there's a gap at level 40 where they forgot to make one, plus grinding Hunter for it.
Is there any reason why I wouldn't just use magic because runes are easy as fuck to make, or melee because you can just buy all weapons up to 60 from shops?
